Raja Bhoj College of Education, Betul

Raja Bhoj College of Education, Betul, was set up in 2012 and is an affiliated college situated in Betul, Madhya Pradesh. The institute is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi and provides education based courses. Spread over a land area of approximately 0. 404 acres, the college has a total strength of 368 students and it is staffed by a faculty of 30 members.

Raja Bhoj College of Education offers four programmes for the degree level. It was mixed institution for both male and female with full-time training programmes for intending teachers. Raja Bhoj College of Education has different infrastructures for students’ academic and social learning activities.

There is provision of a well-maintained library which contains syllabus books, general books, magazines, reference books and case reports, including comfortable reading area. The campus resources consist of departmental practical laboratories in order to enhance the practical sessions. An auditorium is used for ceremonies and meetings, as well as for exhibitions that contribute to the active work of a university.

Students’ health is also considered with the medical centre to treat students’ health issues with first aid. In order to cater to the existing requirement of education, Raja Bhoj College of Education has well developed IT facilities. There is provision of sporting activities for all the students with a view of developing the physical and the social aspect of the students apart from the academic aspect.

Also transportation means and facilites such as college buses for daily transport to and from college as well as transport for educational trips are available in the college, thus making education easily accessible to all students desiring to attend the college. In all, Raja Bhoj College of Education offers four full time courses to meet different need of teacher education programme.

It holds total student enrollment of 350 across all programmes offered at the institute to ensure it produces quality educators. The courses include integrated BA B. Ed and B. Sc B. Ed. Raja Bhoj College of Education also has a standard admission procedure whereby an applicant must make satisfactory marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test.

The candidates are selected based upon their performance in the qualifying examination/s, entrance examination/s or any other mode prescribed by the state government or UT administration and as per the norms of this university for B. Ed. programme . In the same way, the D. El.

Ed programme conducts admission tests based on merit that informs the admission policy by observing the regulations set by state government or UT administration.
