Rajan College of Womens Education, Kopaganj

Rajan College of Women's Education was started in the year 2015, and it is situated in Kopaganj, Uttar Pradesh. This women’s institution is located in Hikma village and occupies two and three quarter acres of land. It is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which vouches for teacher education standards.

The college has 515 students and 19 members of the faculty, allowing the college to remain small and more precisely specialised. Rajan College provides only one course with concentration on the teacher education course, as the college aims to replicate the success of women in the field of education. Despite the small size, the college avails facilities that ensure it enshrines education amongst its core tasks.

Rajan College of Women's Education provides adequate infrastructure as is required for an effective learning environment. Living in the rural area of the college could have its benefits by discouraging students from having disturbances from the bustles of life. Rajan College of Women's Education offers one course: the Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed).

This is a two-year full-time programme and was developed to produce students who will practice primary education upon completion of the programme. The college has a current capacity of only admitting 50 students for this course in order to maintain the student-student ratio. This way of thinking enables educators to be more individualised in addressing students’ needs, and improvement may be more enhanced.
