Rajeev Gandhi memorial teacher’s training college started in 2009 is a premier college rendered in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. This co-ed college in a 2-acres area primarily focuses on producing educators of tomorrow. NAAC accredited institution that functions with NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) approval.

Two hundred and forty-four students and 26 members of faculty mean an uncluttered academic environment for both the students and the faculty. The college offers three specific subject interest programmes in teacher education for different tiers of schooling. Rajeev Gandhi Memorial Teacher’s Training College, a affiliated College of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh , teaches three regular courses in teacher training programme. These include the Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed), Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Master of Education ( M. Ed ) programmes which take two academic years each.
