Ram Singh College of Engineering and Technology, Firozabad, was established in 2005 and is one of the premier educational institutes in Uttar Pradesh. The campus of 4. 97 acres is the home of RSCET, which has now grown out of the stage of infancy to a budding technical educational hub in this region. This college is affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh, and is approved by the AICTE.

Currently, RSCET enrolls 514 students and has a faculty strength of 39. It offers 11 different diploma and vocational courses in various disciplines of engineering. Ram Singh College of Engineering and Technology has a range of facilities aimed at augmenting the learning experience and all-around development of the student community in the college campus.

The college campus is equipped with well-stocked laboratories for each of the departments giving hands-on practical training, which is an essential ingredient in technical education. The Sports and Physical Fitness Department: RSCET has a rich playground for various sports activities like basketball, volleyball, badminton, football, and cricket. A medical room has been set up in the college campus of RSCET by a qualified doctor who gives good care to the well-being of its community. The academic programmes of RSCET are diverse and industry-based. It offers a total of 11 courses and runs full-time Diploma programmes in almost all areas of engineering. The programmes include full-time diplomas in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Automobile Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, and Textile Designing.

Besides, RSCET has also started with some innovative D. Voc programmes, like in Software Development, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Production Technology, and Electronic Manufacturing Services. These programmes at the institute are aimed towards developing the practical skills and theoretical knowledge of the students, with an eye to making them competent to meet the changing needs of the industry.

The total intake of students for all courses comes to 514, which ensures that the student-to-teacher ratio is such that effective learning takes place.
