Ramdev Institute of Education, Azamgarh

RIE Azamgarh was built in 2015, KKhilupur, Sanjarpur, Azamgarh as a coeducational affiliated college of NU. The institute is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which provides guaranteed quality in teaching profession. The college has total student intake of 1840 and faculty strength of 15 and it provides number of undergraduate course.

Against this positive backdrop, the institute offers four self-contained and comprehensive full-fledged degree courses namely BA, B. Com, B. Sc and D. El. Ed for different learners according to their areas of focus or career perspective. RIE Azamgarh is affiliated with Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU), Jaunpur .

It has a number of amenities focused on improving the general learning environment of the college students. Fans of different kinds of sports can benefit from the sports centre of the college, and it helps in the development of fitness and teamwork. A state-of-the-art library hall is another necessity, as it houses a student where all the information necessary is stored.

Ramdev Institute of Education also has department-based labs, enabling students to have real-life physical experiences in their departments. In an attempt to meet the standard of using technology in every aspect of life, the college provides very good IT facilities so that students are conversant with technology.

With a view to offer guest room and waiting room services for the convenience of visiting faculty and students’ kith and kin, the institute has offered these infrastructural amenities. There are currently four courses offered by Ramdev Institute of Education, all of which are on full time basis. These are three-year B. A/B. Com/B. Sc courses and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed. ).
