Rani Durgavati Medical College at Banda was initiated in 2016 and stands one among the reputed medical colleges in Banda, Uttar Pradesh. It was formerly known as the Government Allopathic Medical College, Banda. The college is affiliated and approved under the National Medical Commission, offering many different medical programmes to aspiring health professionals.

The college is located on Naraini Road and has a strength of 76 faculty members dedicated to ensuring quality education and mentorship to the students. This coeducational institution allows the entry of students from every walk of life. The college offers 5 courses enroling over 3 degree programmes, which are oriented towards different medical disciplines both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

At the postgraduate level, it offers MD Community Medicine, MD Forensic Medicine, MD Physiology , and MS Anatomy.

These postgraduate programmes have an intake of only 3 to 4 seats each, ensuring focused and intensive training. The total number across all the courses comes to 113.
