Rao Abhay Singh College of Education, Rewari was established in the year 2006 at Saharanwas, Rewari, Haryana. This co-educational institution is extended over 3. 5 acres, and the goal and mission of this institute are to turn students into future educators. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, the college offers three full-time courses in education.

With an enrolment of 228 students in its repository and 13 teaching faculty members, the college possesses an appreciable student-teacher ratio. The college caters to the educational pursuits of prospective teachers at various levels of study, with courses like B. Ed, M. Ed, and D. El. Ed.

The pride of the college is some of its modern facilities that have been tagged for improving the learning experience of the students. Important as it is in the institution, the library contains 8,394 books and 36 journals which can be used buy the students and the staff.

The scientific and mathematical laboratories are fully equipped to support practical works that will enkindle spirit of scientific inquiry to be passed to the future teachers. The college is committed to harnessing technology as attested to by the computer laboratory which has 15 computers attached to the internet, printers, and scanners.

In addition to these, the institute sufficiently provides a transport facility by running buses up to 30 km. radius through a GPRS-based tracking system for the safety and convenience of the students. A canteen, dispensary for medical needs, and spaces for sports and cultural activities are part of the campus, thus promoting a healthy educational environment.

At Rao Abhay Singh College of Education, three full-time courses are attuned to taking care of the diversified requirements of the learners. The institute deals in core areas such as the Bachelor of Education ( B. Ed ), Master of Education ( M. Ed ), and Diploma in Elementary Education ( D. El. Ed ).

With a total admission capacity of 175 students in all the courses being offered, the college takes care of the fact that the intakes are always in a manner that the student gets individualized care. The Admission criteria for Rao Abhay Singh College of Education are merit-based. It, therefore, considers the scores of the candidates in the qualifying exams. Admission to the courses B. Ed and M.

Ed shall, however, be on the prepared merit list out of the candidates' marks secured in the qualifying examination. The admission is D. El. Ed is a bit different, and it is arranged by SCERT Gurgaon based once again on the scores of the candidates in the two public exams of the 12th class itself.
