Residential Women's Polytechnic College, Payyanur

Residential women polytechnic college Payyanur, which was started in 1991 is the first of its kind that supports empowered education for women. It is an affiliated college situated at Korom P. O. Payyanur, Kerala, and the college occupies 19 acres of land. Affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), it has been successful in making a mark in delivering quality diploma education.

In total, the college has 613 students and 19 faculty members, thus preserving an almost perfect student-to-faculty ratio and providing individualised support. Residential women polytechnic college has leveraged infrastructure development to create facilities that would help aid the learning process of students. A good library contains learning materials for scholarly as well as character development of its patrons.

Furthermore, the institute offers transport facilities; this makes students and staff have safe means of transport to and from the institute. Residential Women’s Polytechnic College has a total of four diploma courses as full-time courses, and all take three years to complete.

These programmes aim at satisfying different needs and market requirements, such as the Diploma in Computer Application and Business Management, Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
