Rewanchal Institute of Education and Technology Rewa was established in the year 2008 situated in Indira Nagar Near APS University Stadium Rewa Madhya Pradesh. This co educational institute in 2-acre campus is specially established for building future teachers. Recognized by NCTE the institute offers three professional courses in education which have an aggregate intake capacity of two hundred one.

The faculty strength of this institute is 15 well qualified teachers which make it easier to focus on students coming to this respective institute and deliver quality output. Rewanchal Institute of Education and Technology consists of many facilities, dedicated to improving educational process in the institute for the students.

The well-equipped library centre also includes books, educational journals, videocassettes and CDs. In response to the current dynamic education sector, the college has set up a computerized laboratory to enhance positioning of student to new technologies in delivery of teaching and learning process.

It also focuses on the Health sector providing amenities/infrastructure for sports and games indoor and outdoor games: carom, chess, athletic, shot put etc. Besides, there is a gym, canteen, an auditorium and a health center with first aid facilities on the entire territory of the campus. The institute has arrangements for hostel facilities for the outstation students on the separate campus of Boys and Girls hostels.

As an institute offering full-time education, Rewanchal Institute of Education and Technology has four courses , which main focus in education. , B. Ed is a two year course with an intake capacity of 100 students. For those who wish to teach, the institute provides a 2-year course under the D. Ed programme with a seat capacity of 50.

The flagship programme is the unique BA B Edu integrated programme, a four-year programme that offers a degree and teacher training for 100 students. All three programmes offered by the institute have 250 admission seats and are full course programmes that provide competent teachers to the society.

Rewanchal Institute of Education and Technology operates based on merit without any special fees for admission, thus depending on the marks scored in the qualifying or entrance examination. In order to enroll the students for the B. Ed programme, exams are conducted and taken as per the norms of the State Government, UT Administration and the affiliated University.
