Intake of Engineering: The maximum intake of all the programmes offered is in Computer Science and Engineering with 180 seats followed by Information Technology with 60 seats each in Electronics and Communication Engineering .
This has ensured the institution admits 300 students in total for all programmes offered at the institution. The role of institute mainly to impart the quality technical education for women, which help them to establish their carriers in the rapidly growing field of technology.
Rishi MS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women follows the norm of admission through Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) . For all the B. Tech programmes, 70 percent of seats are available for students based on TS EAMCET counseling and the remaining 30 percent are directly under the college authorities.
Prospective students should have passed their 10+2 with the least 45 percent in science while also passing the TS EAMCET test. Besides, 45% in diploma can also apply for the lateral entry. In addition the 85 percent quota policy of the institute ensures that most of the openings remain with the regional students or candidates.
The college uses the centralized admission process, and sends out physical copies to other colleges usually in mid August. For the 2024 academic year, the tentative seat allocation was on 13 of August with physical reports to reach the colleges from 16-17 of August, 2024.
The institute provides several government scholarships such as post-matric scholarships for the unique trainings of deserving learners who wish to pursue different courses.
