Rizvi Institute of Management Studies and Research, Bandra West, Mumbai, was established in the year 1994. This affiliated college has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and offers quality management education on its compact 4-acre campus. At present, a total of 236 students are enrolled in RIMSR, which is supported by a faculty of 14 dedicated professionals.

One of the key programmes for which this institute is known is its Master of Management Studies programme, the flagship course of the institute. Rizvi Institute of Management Studies and Research has a varied range of facilities that would help the students learn better. The institute library has a treasure trove of knowledge with more than 20,000 books.

It subscribes to more than 100 journals, magazines, and periodicals. It also provides access to different online resources and databases, such as Ebsco, JDate, etc. The state-of-the-art computer laboratory with over 150 computers and internet access available throughout the day helps the students keep themselves updated with the dynamic changes in technology.

Other facilities available include sports, a cafeteria, an auditorium for events and seminars, and a health centre with first-aid facilities. Rizvi Institute of Management Studies and Research, Bandra West, Mumbai, established in 1994, is an affiliated institution of the University of Mumbai , approved by AICTE and recognised by DTE.

The institute currently offers one full-time postgraduate programme, Master of Management Studies ( MMS ). This two-year course clearly is an indicator of the attention that the institute provides to the quality of management education. The admission process in Rizvi Institute of Management Studies and Research is performance-based in various entrance examinations.

This institute accepts the scores of the Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test, more popularly known as MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, and other national-level examinations like the Common Admission Test— CAT , Management Aptitude Test— MAT , and the AIMS Test for Management Admission— ATMA . The competent authority requires that prospective students have appeared in any of these exams.
