RN Polytechnic College is an affiliated college offering technical education in the field of engineering in the Sonbhadra,Uttar Pradesh. This institute is locatied in the Post Jharokalan, Sonbhadra of Majhauli village and has been carving out future engineers. The college has emerged as one of the prominent college of polytechnic education.

Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, RN Polytechnic College provides three diploma courses to promote engineering discipline in various fields. The college has a faculty strength of 24 highly qualified personnel and seeks to create the appropriate environment for learning.

RN Polytechnic College has several amenities that have been developed to facilitate education enhancing structures in the college. The I. T Infrastructure well needed a focus which has been well captured by the provision of a modern computer laboratory which is the backbone of the institution. There are proper classroom facilities with adequate spaciousness and a variety of ergonomically designed furniture. RN Polytechnic College have modern teaching aids like O H P/L. C. D projectors. It also provides book bank facility in which students can get the books in need rather than buying them. At present, RN Polytechnic College has three full time diploma programmes that take three years each. These courses address various branches of engineering with the aim of offering the students a right preparation to their respective disciplines.

The college offers a total of 300 seats in its programmes to show that it has the capacity to train a large number of students every year. The courses are Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering, Civil, and Electrical Engineering .
