Roorkee College of Pharmacy, Roorkee is one of the premier colleges of Pharmaceutical Education. This affiliated college was established in 2003 and is located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. The PCI has approved RCP Roorkee for running various programmes in pharmacy at different levels. This campus is spread over 3 acres with a total student enrolment of 265 and a faculty strength of 27.
RCP Roorkee offers a co-educational setup where students from all walks of life flock in great numbers to fulfill their pharmaceutical aspirations. Roorkee College of Pharmacy aims at rendering a fully professional experience to the students and is thus engaged in providing varieties of facilities for overall development.
It has well-equipped laboratories for pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, and pharmacology, providing practical hands on exposure for the students in the field of pharmacy. The library, which is the backbone of the college, has over 7,000 books stocked in it and has an ideal ambience, allowing both individual and group studies.
The college has separate hostels for boys and girls with a capacity of 150 students each, having an objective of making the inmates feel at home. The Uttarakhand Technical University conducts a Central Admission Process for the B. Pharma and D. Pharma courses. Preference will be given to candidates who qualified in the GPAT at the time of admission to the first year of M. Pharma programmes.
