Royal College of Nursing, Coimbatore was instituted in 2010; it is one of the premier Nursing colleges for women in Tamil Nadu in India. This co-educational college is situated on Palakkad Main Road Madukkarai and is spread over a sprawling 4 acre landscaped campus providing a right ambience for students who wish to make a career in healthcare sector.

The nursing college has been registered from the Indian Nursing Council, INC, and works as an affiliate to provision of nursing education meeting national requirements. A total enrolment of 188 students and a faculty of 22 ensures that the college provides a good student-faculty ratio that enables provision of quality education, enhanced interaction between the faculty and the students.

RCN Coimbatore offers a niche of basic and specialised nursing courses to fulfil the need of one or the other level of healthcare education. The institution provides three full-time courses : B.

Sc Nursing (4 years), GNM (4 years) and ANM (1 year). These programme are meant to prepare students with adequate theoretical understanding as well as practical experience that is crucial in practice of nursing.
