This college was established in the year 1993 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and since then, it has been aspiring young generation for the development of physiotherapy education. As an affiliated college situated in a small area of 1. 5 acre area, this college has been offering various programmes in physiotherapy.

The total student enrolment of RVS College of Education is 265 and total number of faculty members is 18 so there is personal attention on each student as well as proper education is provided to the students. Here, RVS College of Physiotherapy is well equipped with several facilities which were helpful in providing complete nondirective learning experience for the students.

The college has separate hostels for girls and boys, which are well furnished with all modem facilities required by out door students. This well-stocked library accomodates over 1,100 volumes, foreign books and subscribes to 5 international physical therapy journals which ensure that student has current vital information to disseminate.

It has also a health centre to attend to any emergencies in form of first aid to students of the college. For the sport and fitness creatures, a gymnasium fitted with modern equipment is necessary for a shed weight and a healthy lifestyle. RVS College of Physiotherapy as mentioned has the distinction of offering five full time courses in total.

The institute offers one undergraduate programme, the BPT and 4 postgraduate programmes, which are specialised fields of physiotherapy.
