An affiliated college, RVS School of Architecture, is situated in Tamil Nadu, India – Dindigul, and it was set up in the year 2009. This co-educational institution is recognised by the Council of Architecture and offers a special emphasis on architectural education. RVS School of Architecture is located on 18.
64 acres of land, and the total number of students, which includes both UG and PG, is one hundred thirty-eight, and the number of full-time faculty members is twenty-three. RVS School of Architecture is affiliated with Anna University . In order to foster the learning process and generally improve the quality of students, RVS School of Architecture has a number of special amenities.
The facility has a hostel facility for only male students and female students, and the two have a warden to maintain order and cleanliness. A fully automatic domestic mineral water plant caters healthy drinking water, and the hostels provide good quality food and snacks at an affordable price range.
The college library is provided with a view of being a storehouse of information for the students and different laboratories to fulfil the practical learning requirements of different departments. A number of activities are held in an auditorium, including seminars that help in creating a tremendous learning environment.
At present, RVS School of Architecture provides only one course, which is a full-time course - Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch). Originally, this was a five-year degree course with the approved intake capacity of 10 students to assure higher quality teaching with much individual attention to the learners.
Unlike other institutions, RVS School of Architecture follows a standard procedure for admitting students to the programme. All aspirants for the B. Arch course need to sit for a National Design Aptitude Test ( NATA ) or Joint Entrance Examination of India ( JEE Main ), most commonly the National Aptitude Test in Architecture.
