SA College of Education, Silao

SA College of Education established in the year 2008 is a co-ed college, affiliated with Nalanda University in Bihar, approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. Approval by the NCTE assures the quality of courses provided in a college for teaching. The college is situated on a compact campus, occupying 0. 38884 acres, affording two full-time courses; presently enrolment 200 seats.

With 32 faculty members, SA College of Education delivers specialised education in teacher training programmes. It is facilitated with all the amenities necessary for enriched education. A library with well books stocked in it is an asset to all the academic activities. The campus of SA College of Education provides departmental laboratories to ensure practical study.

This provides an added advantage to the students in terms of having great IT infrastructure for better pace with technological development in the educational sector. SA College of Education, Silao runs two full-time courses in the education sector. B. Ed and D. El. Ed are undergraduate diplomas that are designed in a manner to offer the students the ability to have successful careers in the field of teaching. Both these courses go on for a duration of two years, with the intake capacity of 100 each, that sums up to 200 intake capacities.
