Sa polytechnic college, Chennai was started in the year 1996, located at sundarasolavaram, thiruverkadu post, Chennai and it is an affiliated college. This AICTE approved offering diploma courses in various disciplines of engineering. Currently located on an acre of land with student enrolment of 695 and staffed by 36 professionals, SA Polytechnic College offers quality education to all its learners.

The college offers six diploma courses of which all are full time focused on different specialisations in engineering and technology. The college has pride in its functional and comprehensive facilities aimed at improving the students learning capabilities. It works as a central point of discovery offering the necessary tools and materials that are critical in students’ learning process.

Co-curricular activities, and sport lovers; the college has a large playground for outdoor activities like football, Volleyball, and cricket and indoor games like table tennis and shuttle badminton, for the students. The college also has a hall in which students practice any form of fitness activities since the college has a gym facility.

In response to the rapid growth in the use of information technology in the society, SA Polytechnic College has set up well equipped computer laboratories which may enable students to practice in different software and languages. In total, SA Polytechnic College has a total of six diploma course offerings and all of them are full time programs which takes three years to complete.

The college has between it courses a total approved student enrolment capacity of three hundred and sixty students. All diploma programs offered initiate a student in various engineering disciplines as per diverse preference of students.
