Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar, recognised in 1982, is an affiliated college in Belthangady Taluk, Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka. This college is located in a beautiful 7. 52 acre tract of land and provides a very natural ambiance for learning. The college is affiliated with Mangalore University .

For the sports lovers, the college provides a facility with a 400 meters track, international standard athletic events, and games such as kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, volleyball, and so on. The institution also boasts two computer laboratories with 63 computers, internet and LCD projector facilities, thus enhancing the institution to conform to the age of everything computerised.
Students can relax in the well-equipped canteen or can indulge themselves in the multi-gym for boys or home gym for girls. In keeping with the quality inherent to the Cambrian group of colleges, the facility for the students includes separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls, the number of seats being 60 for boys and 120 for girls, besides a well-equipped health centre offering first aid.
Sacred Heart College boasts of providing a wide and vast number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses that attempt to capture various fields of study. There are four full time courses - (B. A. , M. Com , B. Com, BCA ) at the institution, three of which are bachelor's degrees and the other is the master's degree.
