Sadanam Institute of Commerce and Management Studies, Palakkad

Sadanam Institute of Commerce and Management Studies or SICOMS as it is known today came into existence in 2008 functioning in Palakkad, Kerala. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approves this affiliated college, which offers management courses at its institution. Occupying a relatively small area of one acre, SICOMS allows for adequate concentration on the tuition of the students.

Presently the institute has a strength of 7 (Seven) students and to facilitate focused attention appropriate troupes of 7 (Seven) are provided by the institute faculty to the students. To date, SICOMS has one postgraduate program, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with a specialization in business administration.

It is a co-educational institution and thus embrace students from both sexes and hence enhancing an ideal learning environment. SICOMS has the following amenities that have been realized in order to facilitate the student. Boys and girls have their different hostels All rooms are fully furnished with twin-sharing beds; large and airy The institute provides comfortable home like atmosphere.

The college library functions as an information center and contains books, journals, magazines, cases and other learning and management resources. Computer centre is equipped with full air conditioning system that supports class activities as well as assignments apart from enlightening students on current affairs.

To area of concern for Physical wellbeing in SICOMS, there are-available sporting equipment for soccer, cricket, volley-ball and badminton among others. There are also staff and students’ canteen, health center with first aid services and the college also has an active alumni association for professional networking.

At present the institute teach only one full-time program , this is the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) . This two-year program has an approved intake of 60 seats still the ample opportunities exist for management professionals. The PGDM course in SICOMS is organized in a manner that prepares the student for job market and gives him/her the right skills for the corporate world.

The recognition as well as the admission procedure of Sadanam Institute of Commerce and Management Studies depends on national and p state level entrance test. The institute recognizes CAT, KMAT Kerala, XAT, CMAT, and MAT scores for the management entrance test. It is obvious that this list of accepted exams offers different gateways for those youths interested in joining the PGDM program.
