Sagar Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalay, Kherwara, Rajasthan, is anaffiliated college having teacher education. This co-educational institution was founded in 2007 and has been cultivating the future educators for more than 10 years. Located near National Highway 8, it occupies a 6. 26 acre of land, which is perfect for teaching and learning activities.

In order to meet these high standards, the institute offers its educational programmes with the accreditation of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). At the moment, it has 181 students in its fold and teachers, 15 in number, guaranteeing a small student teacher ratio which is favourable for close monitoring of each learner.

This two-year course aims at producing professional teachers capable of teaching in schools; in this connection, the college has an approved intake capacity of 100. The programme is extensive and seeks to train efficient and knowledgeable teachers on education theory and practice in the B. Ed program.

The admission procedure at Sagar Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalay is merit based and the norms for admission are set by the Government of Rajasth wand Indies. The university’s Pre Teacher Education Test or PTET is mandatory for any students who wish to apply for admission into this institute. Before taking this test, PTET has been standardised at Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer.
