The institution is located at Saharsa, Bihar, and the institute is pretty young, being established in the year 2017. This co-educational institute is an affiliated college approved by AICTE. With its campus sprawled over 10 acres of land, SCE Saharsa offers varied engineering programs to groom the next generation's technical professionals.

The total enrolment of the college is 911 students, with 27 faculty members, hence providing an ideal learning environment. Presently, there are five B. Tech programs constituting SCE Saharsa, all of which are designed to orient students with knowledge and skills at the cutting edge of their chosen fields of engineering.

One of the impressive arrays of facilities is available to support the academic mission of the college. A fully air-conditioned library, with a vast number of textbooks, reference books, journals, and magazines, is the center of intellectual resources at SCE Saharsa. This knowledge hub helps develop an atmosphere of research and continuous learning among its students and faculty.

Next to the library block is the well-equipped computer centre consisting of about 150 networked computers, which are laid out in two floors. It is an internet access center and is also acting as a software-related laboratories service resource for all departments like Computer Science, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, etc. The facilities in SCE, Saharsa, go much beyond academics.

Separate boys' hostels are available with spacious rooms and hygienic food facilities. Outdoor and indoor game facilities, including volleyball, football, cricket, basketball, badminton, and table tennis, are available for sports and health lovers. It also provides a well-equipped gym to the students for maintaining physical fitness.

The health of the students is always taken care of by the college, through the providing of medical facilities and periodical health checkups by registered medical practitioners. Other amenities include Wi-Fi coverage, an auditorium for events and seminars, and banking facilities. SCE Saharsa aims at providing the proper environment for academic and personal growth. SCE Saharsa offers five full-time B.

Tech programs, each with a duration of four years. These programs include the following, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering . It is to be noted that every course has an approved intake of 60 students, thereby reflecting the college's commitment towards optimum class size for efficient learning.

All aspiring students have to go through the screening and main examinations conducted by BCECE for admitting to the B. Tech course of their choice. This institutionalized procedure of admission takes care of admitting the pool of talented and motivated students from all parts of the state.
