Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management Scholarships and Eligibility Criteria Scholarship Eligibility Criteria D Devaraja Arasu Arivu Loan Students who have joined through KCET of Category-1, 2A, 3A, and 3B (other than Vishwakarma, Minority Community, Uppara, and Ambiga) and whose parent’s income is less than Rs 3. 50 lakhs are eligible for an Arivu loan.
KMDC Arivu Loan Students from minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians) and whose parent's income is less than Rs 3. 50 lakhs are invited to apply for an Arivu loan. Dhrithi Foundation Scholarship Only students who received more than 75% on their final exam (PUC or higher) are eligible to apply. The annual income of the family from all sources should not exceed Rs. 36,000.
This scholarship scheme is only open to Dakshina Kannada District students. 'ECSS'- Educational Crisis Scholarship Support from HDFC Bank The ECSS programme is designed to provide temporary assistance to children who are experiencing personal or financial hardship. This scheme is for students pursuing a BE degree in accordance with AICTE/UGC/State/Central government regulations.
They must have experienced a personal or family crisis in the last 3 years, as a result of which they are unable to continue paying for their education and are on the verge of dropping out of school/college/university. Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for college and university students Students in their first year of BE who are in the top 20th percentile or 80th percentile above are eligible to apply.
SC/ST Scholarship (Fresh & Renewal) - income below Rs 2. 5 lakhs Students from the SC/ST categories will get fee concessions. The parent’s income should be below Rs 2. 5 lakhs. SC/ST Scholarship (Fresh & Renewal) - income limit Rs. 2. 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs Students from the SC/ST category receive fee concessions. The parent’s income must be between Rs 2. 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs.
Defence Scholarship Dependents of defence personnel are eligible for this scholarship scheme. OBC Postmatric/Food & Accommodation/Fee Concession This scheme is for students from other backward communities (other than SC/ST and minorities). DTE Fee Concession for SC/ST students The parent’s income should be above Rs 2. 5 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh per annum.
Social Welfare Office Fee Concession for SC/ST Students The parent’s income must be below Rs 2. 5 lakh per annum. Fee Concession /FAAS/PM Scholarship: Cat-1, 2a, 3a, 2b, 3b students (Other than minorities) Parents' annual income should be less than Rs. 2,00,000/- for Cat-1 students, and less than Rs. 1 lakh per year for others.
