Sanjivani College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Khetri

Sanjivani College of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Khetri was established in 1998 and this affiliated college is in Rajasthan, India. Located in Rajota, Tehsil Khetri, Jhunjhunu district, this is a co-educational institute especially devoted to pharmaceutical education. The college located in a 2-acre area is recognised by the PCI, which ensures the quality of education and training in the sphere of pharmacy.

The college has the strength of 217 students, and the faculty members constitute of 19 members, thus the college provide a best platform for the students who are interested to take up the course in pharmacists. The institute provides two primary courses: There are two courses offered by the college under the faculty of Pharmacy: The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma); and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.

Pharma) both of which are full-time courses. This college has several facilities which can be used to improve students’ learning experience in college. This means that the library plays an important role of being a storehouse of knowledge pertinent to the pharmaceutical fields.

Properly equipped laboratories are important for the practical work, which is excellent for a person who intends to make a career in the sphere of pharmacy. Regarding, body and health physical educational facilities such as sports amenities are provided so that a balanced education system is provided. IT infrastructure comprises of having a computer center with a dedicated internet connection of one megabit per second so that the students conform with the technological update of the pharma industry.

Other facilities include a dining hall, a dispensary with first aid facilities and accommodation for the guest faculty and their families. Sanjivani College of Pharmaceutical Sciences provides only two courses of its type; and both are full time. The Bachelors in Pharmacy which is also known as B. Pharma is for four years while the Diploma course in Pharmacy popularly known as D.

Pharma is a two years course in India. In terms of intake, both courses have an approval of having 60 students each meaning that the total student intake for each academic year is 120. As the college offers specialized education and training in the field of pharmaceuticals, it concentrates on two basic major pharmaceutical programs.
