Sanskar Teacher Training College, Hanumangarh

Sanskar Teacher Training College was established and started in the year 2017 at Hanumangarh city, Rajasthan. This affiliated college, approved by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education), is dedicated to the cause of teacher education. The institution is affiliated with Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner .

The institute is located on Nohar-Ardaki road, in Brahmanwasi, and with the current opinion of co-education, the institute aims at moulding ideal educators. Sanskar Teacher Training College has an intake capacity of 115 students and a faculty of 15 educators and aims to offer the students appropriate educational training if they are interested in becoming teachers.

The Sanskar Teacher Training College has many learning amenities aimed at improving the learning process for the students. At the centre of all these facilities is a modern library, with a floor area of 1000 square feet. This modern building can take 25 % of total students at a time and is stocked with over 11,000 books, journals, encyclopaedias and other educational materials.

Housing is well lit with natural lighting, enough ventilation, lighting and interior design to provide a comfortable learning environment. For large assemblies, an appropriate facility, which is a multi-purpose hall with a 2000 sq ft area having efficient audio-visual amenities, is established in the college.

Also, an open-air theatre with a hotel capacity of over 1000 guests can accommodate major functions of different organisations, such as the Annual Combined Edufest of Education Colleges of Haryana. Sanskar Teacher Training College currently offers one primary course: the Degree of Bachelor of Education ( B. Ed ).

This is a two-year, full-time course, which is affiliated with a huge capacity of one hundred and sometimes has an approved admission capacity of one hundred as well. The B. Ed programme has the philosophy of preparing students for the teaching profession through providing them with the skills and knowledge that are required.

As the college offers only this single degree, it shows that the college is very much concerned with the quality of education to prepare teachers. Sanskar Teacher Training College itself offers a few admissions to it through the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET). At the same time, this recognised test enables students genuinely interested in pursuing education as a career to enrol in the B. Ed programme.

The candidates intending to seek admission should follow the PTET yearly examination schedule and prepare for the same. Even though information regarding specific scholarships may not be available, students are advised to contact the college administration to check whether or not they offer any form of scholarships to deserving students.

Since the institute was started in 2017, it has taken up the responsibility of expanding and progressing in order to positively impact the training of teachers in India.
