Sant Nekiram Teachers Training College was established in 2007 at Sitsar Churu, Rajasthan is a dedicated institution for teacher education. This co-educational college is in the state university system; it has niched into programmes that train teachers. The college has been established across an extent of 1 acres and is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) regulating overall quality.

The college has the total strength of students 282 and total faculty 32 which shows the appropriate sta+student ratio is an added advantage to learning. The still existing institution at the moment comprises of three unique courses, two of which are integrated degree programmes to cultivate teachers in different fields.

Sant Nekiram Teachers Training College has other facilities that provide a vantage point in the delivery of knowledge to the student’s Calendar. This fully fledged library contains more than 7,605 books and 14,250 titles, 31 journals and 1,250 titles for academic use. Facilities include up-to-date physical, chemical, biological, and mathematical laboratories with essentials for practical sessions.

Students get value from a computer Lab that is connected to the internet at a high-speed; this is important when it comes to the use of ICT in learning. They also value giving a complete growth to the students with sports and gym accommodation at the college. Other facilities include an audi- tlorium for conduct of events /seminars, Food court for providing healthy snacks and a health centre / first aid.

As part of facilities for students and staff, the college offers transport facilities which make it easy for individuals to get to the college. Sant Nekiram Teachers Training College offers a limited number of teacher education programmes. The institution provides three full-time courses: B. Ed , BA B. Ed, and B. Sc B. Ed . The B.

Ed programme is a two years course, which have an authorised intake of one hundred students, while the four-year integrated courses are BA B. Ed and B. Sc B. Ed. T The entry into Sant Nekiram Teachers Training College is mainly done on merit through a common entrance test know as PTET conducted for teacher education colleges in Rajasthan state.
