Saraswati College, Shegaon, was established in the year 2009. It is an affiliated college in Shegaon, Maharashtra. This institute is approved by AICTE and, at present, offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in computer applications and business administration. The campus is spread over 4 acres, with a total of 316 students enrolled, the gender ratio is 1:1. 52, male to female.

This college has a faculty strength of 15 members and imparts 3 degree programmes in various specialisations. Four state-of-the-art computer labs make up the IT infrastructure, each with 60 Dell I3 computers hooked to a central server. The campus provides high-speed internet and WiFi services at 10 Mbps speed that will help keep the students connected, seamlessly accessing online resources.

The institution has a well-equipped gymnasium and several sports facilities like cricket, volleyball, football, and athletics for physical fitness and recreation. The campus is also equipped with all modern amenities, including a modern canteen, medical room with contacts at the Nida Hospital in Shegaon, and adequate parking space for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

The Saraswati College runs a total of three full-time courses targeting both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The academic portfolio contains Bachelor of Computer Applications, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Master of Computer Applications. This will ensure focused and personalised learning. The total approved intake of all programmes is 316 students.

The intake capacity for MCA and BCA programmes is 120, and for the BBA programme, the intake capacity has not been specified as yet. The admission procedure is also different in Saraswati College for different programmes. In the MCA programme, the admission is based on the Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test. The students should look for the date of MAH-MCA-CET and form filling process.

This entrance examination score is accepted by the college, which guarantees a merit-based process for MCA admissions.
