Sarjug Dental College and Hospital was established in 1988 and is among the more famous institutions of dental education in Laheriasarai, Darbhanga, Bihar. The college is affiliated with the approval of the DCI and hence imparts quality dental education. With a total enrolment of 107 students and a faculty strength of 148.

It provides for only one undergraduate dental course in dentistry, that is, Bachelor of Dental Surgery, a five-year full-time course. Dental College and Hospital supports the policy on equal opportunities and therefore runs a co-educational system. The facilities the college offers enhance the learning of the students and their overall development.

Separate hostel accommodation is provided for boys and girls in the campus. The hostels have the facility to accommodate a large number of students from different regions, which makes their stay comfortable. The library of dental and medical literature is very well stocked with a vast collection of important books and journals.

The reading room is also quite spaced with ideal lighting, providing an appropriate atmosphere for concentrated study. The college has good departmental laboratory setups that help students in the acquisition of practical training regarding the various aspects of dentistry. The Sarjug Dental College and Hospital offers only one undergraduate course, which is the Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
