SB College of Education, Bengaluru was established in 2017, which is relatively small and young college focused on teacher training. This affiliated college is situated in Yelahanka New Town, Bangalore and is recognised from NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). The institute is built over a small area of 1. 05687 acres of land, and thus provides a specialised learning atmosphere.

Currently, we are offering our services to 200 students and 15 members of the faculty, thus keeping student: teacher ratio highly professional. SB College of Education, Bengaluru is affiliated with the college Bengaluru City University, Bengaluru. The facilities available at SB College of Education include several facility that aids the learning process of the students.

The college boast of this library services that aims at offering students educational tools and materials. Facilities for practical training are departmental laboratories enabling the student to get practice within one’s area of specialization. The campus also has an auditorium for occasions such as seminars, and other major occasions that add to the active academic society.

To promote physical fitness, there are sports facilities, and gym can be found in the location. To support the students, the college has found convenient means of ensuring that students are healthy by having a health center which offers first aid. Thus, in order to meet various demands of the current educational process, the institution has well-developed IT facilities.

SB College of Education, therefore, mainly offers a two-year full-time B. Ed programme which is its flagship product. Enrollment to this programme is at 100 in accord with the institutions capacity to offer quality training for teachers to meet the market demand. The B. Ed course covers basic competencies that enable the students to fit in the different school systems as functional teachers.

SB College of Education has the privilege of following a merit based admission policy of the state government/U. T. Administration and the university to which it is affiliated. In order to get admission, the examinee is assessed by his/ her performance in the qualifying exam and or entrance exam.
