Scholars College of Education, Patna, was established in the year 2014 as a co-educational institute with an aim to foster the development of future teachers. Affiliated to Bagha Kol Chowk, Patna, the institute has been accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi.

It lays immense emphasis on skilled and expert educators, and as such, it offers two specialised courses in the very field, namely Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Elementary Education. Total student 'enrolment in the institute is 240 and faculty strength is 39, assuring better scope for personalised attention and guidance for aspiring teachers.

The college boasts of various facilities for better learning by its pupils. The concern of the institution for modern education is reflected in an excellent IT infrastructure that helps students keep pace with the technological advancement in the field of education. Various departmental laboratories give students practical experience of learning, which is indispensable in developing practical teaching skills.

Scholars College of Education, Patna, offers two full-time courses which are orientated towards two different aspects of teacher education. Bachelor of Education ( B. Ed ) is a regular two-year course with an intake of 100 students.

This course aims to turn the graduates into secondary and higher secondary teachers. While the other one is Diploma in Elementary Education , a two-year course that admits 50 students. It aims to provide necessary training to the teachers at the primary and upper primary levels. Admission to all the courses at Scholars College of Education, Patna, shall be purely based on merit and absolutely transparent.

The merit of the B. Ed. course shall be based on merit in the qualifying examination and performance in the Entrance Examination. Selection to this shall be as per the policy of the State Government of Bihar and the affiliating University. Admission to the course of D. El. Ed.

shall be made on the basis of the candidate's performance at the qualifying examination and entrance test as prescribed by the State Government/UT Administration.
