The School of Biotechnology at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) is one of the renowned constituent colleges to get set up in the year 2009. This proactive institute is established in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh and aims to enhance the standards of biotechnology instruction and discovery. Being a co-educational institution, admission is open for both boys and girls.

It was established under the approval of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) which notifies about maintaining certain academic standards.
