The School of Commerce and Management was established in the year 2007 under the Mohan Babu University, Tirupati. An Un aided co -educational institution with collegiate culture, the college is located at Sree Sainath Nagar, A. Ranganpet, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
The institution offers different undergraduate programs in commerce and management with a healthy academic condition of 484 student population and 36 teaching faculty that goes a long way in achieving academic excellence. The institution has four types of degree programmes; undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies, which are oriented toward Business Administration, Commerce, and Management.
Some of the facilities the School of Commerce and Management has provided for their students to experience study life to the fullest include a well-furnished hostel for boys and another one for girls; each block within these hostels accommodates 100 students. These hostel blocks are designed to aerially bring out the words "BABU M", done in remembrance of the university's chairman .
Dormitories are ample, with the students receiving 24-hour security round the clock, together with modern amenities like fully air-conditioned rooms with an internet access. The college computer lab prides itself with well-kitted states of computers numbering 1160, with Pentium 4 processors and an internet connection accessible 24 hours.
This campus also accommodates weekends as well as holidays, which stretches the utility of the campus for the learning candidates. There are four courses in this B school premises identically provided by the management of the institute. All these four courses are the full-time courses. The 4 courses are: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) , Bachelor of Commerce (B.
Com) , Master of Business Administration (MBA ), Ph. D. in Management. The MBA is a full-time two-year course. The course is permitted by the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET). The School of Commerce and Management has an admission process that seeks to admit able and motivated students. The institute requires candidates for MBA to appear for the APICET, which is the Insti/Course Entrance Exam.
The institute is committed to support its students financially, as recorded in 2020 amongst 367 postgraduate students, 133 students received reimbursement or scholarship to some extent. This talks a lot about school commitment in offering quality education which is accessible to the candidates.
