The School of Physiotherapy, RK University, Rajkot established in 2005, with broad mission and vision to develop excellence in health care profession. The institute was well known as a RK College of Physiotherapy, RK Group of Colleges, Rajkot affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot and now famous as School of Physiotherapy, affiliated to RK University, Rajkot.

The school is also recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), the IAP is a member organization of the World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT). Well qualified faculties, advance technology in laboratories and large exposure to clinical setups remains first priority for the school.

The entire classrooms are well ventilated and having large writing surface where the instructor or students can share notes with other members of the class. Many classrooms also have TVs, maps, charts, books, monographs and LCD projectors for presenting information and images from a computer.

The college fully equipped laboratories which provide controlled conditions for scientific research, experiments, and measurement. Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and contribute to improving our quality of life. Libraries change lives for better.

The boy’s hostel has the capacity of about 500 boys whereas the girl’s hostel can house 300 girls. The types of rooms are cubicles and dormitories. Well furnished and spacious rooms available in each hostel. Each room is equipped with a bed, a study table, study chair, almirah and an easy chair.

School of Physiotherapy, RK University, Rajkot, an constituent College of RK University, Rajkot , offers a two-degree, eight-course programmes. RK University School of Physiotherapy offers BPT course. This undergraduate programme is for four years to train the students in sound knowledge and physiotherapy skills. For postgraduate studies, the School of Physiotherapy offers Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) programme.
