School of Research and Technology, People’s University, Bhopal (SORT) is a reputed engineering college which was set up in the year 2007. This constituent college of People’s University is set in 70 acres of land at Bhanpur in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Other programmes available with SORT include engineering programmes that are themselves of quality technical education.

The institute is manned by 37 personnel in the faculty to allow a good student-to-instructor ratio. Launched with six B. Tech programmes across different specialisations in the engineering field, SORT aligns with different learning expectations and employment opportunities.

The IT facilities available are strong, computerised laboratories for students and point connections all around learning places, offering a great strategy to learning and research. Out of all the programmes, the institute provides six B.

Tech programmes have a standard time of four years. These programmes include Computer Engineering , Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering . To achieve these objectives, all courses are set with the premise of offering students a sound engineering core understanding with a focus on current trends.

SORT wants to allow only deserving people to study, and thus, the admission process is rigorous. There are two principal avenues for admission at this level: the Joint Entrance Examination ( JEE Main ), a nationwide test. This thereby creates a place for students from all over the country to be part of this great institution.
