Scholarships at Sethu Institute of Technology are given to students who are financially needy or come from economically challenged families. Scholarships are also awarded at the state and national levels by the college.
Among the state and national scholarships provided to students are the Adi-Dravidar & Tribal Welfare Department Scholarship, Minority Welfare Department Merit Scholarship, UGC Scholarship, Mine Workers Scholarship, and Merit Scholarship for College and University Students.
Students can also apply for private scholarships from organisations such as the Shree Vijayalakshmi Charitable Trust in Coimbatore, the Moulana Azad Education Foundation Scholarship in New Delhi, and the Sitaram Jindal Foundation in Bangalore.

This scholarship is offered solely on the basis of academic achievement. UGC Scholarship The University Grants Commission, New Delhi, awards this fellowship to PG students who are SC/ST. Mine workers Scholarship The Government of India/Ministry of Labour and Employment, New Delhi awards this scholarship to the children of Beedi workers and mine workers.
Merit Scholarship The Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi awards this fellowship to students whose parents work in the central government or public sector. Departmental Scholarship This is a departmental scholarship for students whose parents work in the Central Government/Public Sector Units, etc.
Fee Refund Award The management of Anna University refunds the entire tuition cost to the first three rank holders.
