SGN Khalsa Law PG College, which is famous legal education college was established in 1974 is located in Sri Ganganagar Rajasthan. This affiliated college of MaduraiKamaraj University and approved by Bar council of India is nurturing legal brains for almost five decades. The College occupies a space of approximately 4 acres of land and hence provides students with an environment to study.

SGN Khalsa Law PG College of Amritsar has a rich student population of 786 students and has got a good teaching faculty comprising 16 members that too as a faculty, we have maintained good student faculty ratio that is very important these days for providing individual attention and good educational facilities.

SGN Khalsa Law PG College has made available to it many and various facilities to foster the learning processes and the students’ development. The library as a whole looks like a small encyclopaedia with the stock of books, periodicals and manuscripts including some very rare editions.

From a recreational perspective and more critically from a practical enforcement view point, moot court facility is advantageous for those practical exposure in legal profession so that the students can sharpen their provoking skills in a mock courtroom. This college also contains (hostel) for both male and female separately that provide good living facility for out-station students.

Most of these hostels being well furnished, are under the able administration of wardens who reside in the hostels, hence fostering an environment for amongst other things, study and character transformation. As for now, SGN Khalsa Law PG College provides education only on one course – the Bachelor of Laws (LLB).

This undergraduate degree programme is a three year full time course for which the approved admissions capacity is two hundred and forty students. About the LLB programme It is a specially designed programme that equips the students with knowledge in legal systems, rules and laws, courts as well as preparing all round lawyers to fit in the legal world.
