Shambhu Dayal College of Education, Sonipat

Shambhu Dayal College of Education, Sonipat, came into existence in 2007 in the State of Haryana in India. It is a co-educational affiliated college approved by the NCTE. The college has a huge 8-acre campus with a total student enrolment of 187 and a faculty strength of 6, the institute does provide focused learning in the field of education.

The college is committed to providing quality facilities in order to enhance the students' learning experience. In addition, for academic resources, the library has 3,069 books and 550 reference books, besides 5 newspapers, for satisfying heterogeneous research requirements and general knowledge satisfaction.

The college is also furnished with sports facilities for physical development and recreation, thus making the route of education a path of balance. The college also has well-equipped laboratories to support practical learning in different disciplines of education. Shambhu Dayal College of Education offers one main course: the bachelor's professional degree program called Bachelor of Education, abbreviated as B. Ed .

This two-year-long full-time program is intended to equip future educators with situations where they can build successful careers in education. The B. Ed. program has an approved intake capacity of 100 seats, reflecting the institution's capacity to bring up a sizable number of future educators every year.

Shambhu Dayal College of Education follows a policy of admission based on merit as prescribed by the State Government, UT administration, and affiliated university. Admission to the College is granted only through various qualifying examinations, entrance tests, or other selection processes as authorized.
