Shanmuganathan Engineering College (SEC), was set up in the year 2001, is an engineering college in the village of Thirumayam in the district of Sivagangai, Tamil Nadu. Bachelor and Master in engineering is available at SEC The facility of the college consists of an area of 25 acres and it is NAAC accredited.

SEC also has a total student enrolment of 567 and faculty of 55 which makes a good technical education environment is provided to all students. The undergraduate programmes consist of B. E. Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering , Artificial intelligence and Machine learning, Cyber security.
