SHEPA Institute of Computer Science and Technology was established in the year 1999 at Varanasi. It is one of the premier institutions in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. This affiliated college, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, runs a wide spectrum of programs in Computer Science, Management, and Commerce. Located on a vast 10-acre campus, SHEPA has a total student enrolemnt of 577 and a faculty strength of 40.
The institute finds strength in a number of modern facilities, which benefit the learning needs of students under its roof. It has an area of 350 square meters with more than 10,000 volumes of books, journals—national and international—a collection of magazines, and newspapers.
It has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls regarding the health and well-being of the students, with all the essential facilities like a continuous electricity supply, facilities regarding water, and common rooms equipped with TVs and gym equipment. SHEPA Institute offers many courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the form of full-time programmes.
Its portfolio includes 8 full-time programmes. These consist of some very popular ones like BCA, BBA, MBA, and MCA. The total approved intake of students in all courses is 577 annually. In the offered courses, BCA offers the maximum with 240 seats, followed by B. Com with 240 seats and B. Sc. Biotechnology with 180 seats. The institute offers two postgraduate courses. MBA and M. Com , with 60 seats each.

APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Also, 15% of the seats are reserved under the management quota, wherein admission is made based on graduation marks and CAT /MAT/ XAT /CMAT score, followed by a personal interview. The Institute admits students for all undergraduate courses like BCA, BBA, B. Com, and B.
