The admission process is highly systematised and the college offers 51 states quota for congested Himachal Pradesh students only. These admissions are through counselling done twice a year by the Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) in Shimla where candidates are admitted based on NEET merit list.

The remaining 9 seats which were earlier under All India quota also undergo through state counselling authority (HPU) as per new guidelines issued by Ministry of AYUSH.
