Shree Balaji Hospital and College of Nursing, Kangra, was established in 2019 and is offering education to nursing students of Himachal Pradesh. This co-educational institution is sited in the town of Kangra and aims to provide young people with a proper education to be the future nurses.
This college is spread on a 7 acres piece land and is an affiliated college standards of which are approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The nursing institute has 24 enroled students and faculty numbers 8 persons, providing individual attention to students. Shree Balaji Hospital and College of Nursing also has a number of features that are intended to improve the student experience and their learning process.
Males students and especially female students are able to be accommodated in separate hostels; the school provides modern and neat hostels for the students coming from rural areas or other towns. The campus has a good library that allows the students to carry out research and study, besides various departmental laboratories considered as important in training of nurses since they engage in practical sessions.
A hall is used for gatherings and presentations helps to create an active student life. The college also tries to meet needs related to sustenance, academic healthcare and physical exercise by having a cafeteria, health centre and facilities for sport and gym. A guest house where visiting faculty or family members of patient, is provided.
Shree Balaji Hospital and College of Nursing offers two nursing programmes , the course of General Nursing and Midwifery course (GNM) and the course of Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( B.
