Shree Institute of Teachers Education, Bhopal

Elegant and perpendicularly located in Gandhi Nagar, Hujur, Bhopal of Madhya Pradesh, Shree Institute of Teachers Education was founded in the year 2004. This co-educational institute is an affiliated college fulfilling guidelines of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The institute provides three post graduated programs focusing education for the prospective teachers at different stages.

Devoted to creating quality teachers, Shree Institute of Teachers Education has been one of the players in the education sector for about eighteen years. This institute provides such equipment to support the teaching/learning process of students within the institute. Libraries are found to be stock with important information that are useful to the future teachers.

The college appreciates the need to exercise and offers approved sports amenities facilitating the balanced accomplishment of academic and sporting activities. To meet the contemporary trend in student learning, the institute has integrated exquisite information technology in teaching methods.

Special facilities include diverse labs as departmental facilities and an auditorium where various activities and seminars occur. The campus also contains a cafeteria which is essential to ensure students and the stuff can have a break during the day and have a small conversation.

At present, Shree Institute of Teachers Education provides its students with a total of three full times courses which are relevant to teacher education only. It is also propositions with a course offer which are Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) , Master of Education (M. Ed), and Diploma in Education (D. Ed) .

As such the designed courses are meant for student teachers and practising teachers of different experience levels ranging from new TP student teachers to practicing teachers.

These include 60 for the Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration, 50 for the Bachelor of Education in Special Needs, 40 for the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and 50 for any other course that the institute may offer. The candidates are selected on merit obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test as prescribed by the State Government, UT Administration and the University to which the College is affiliated for the B. Ed program. Same applies to the M. ED program with a few extra conditions regarding the Central Government guidelines.
