Shree Maruthi Polytechnic College, Attur

Shree Maruthi Polytechnic College was started in 1996, is an Affiliated College in Attur, Tamil Nadu. This AICTE approved polytechnic organization currently offers three diploma programs in the major fields of engineering and has a total intakes of 637 students. The college has a well qualified teaching staff comprising of 44 teachers which creates a good student teacher ratio.

Located at Manivizhundhan South, Attur, the institution was founded with success and core competence in imparting quality technical education including all important micro aspects related to the student community. To feed the needs of canvas, the college provides numerous amenities to supplement the learning of the learners.

A small library provides students with a great number of academic sources which may be needed for successful studying. Modern laboratory facilities are provided to each department, enabling the student apply practical experience to their acquired theoretical knowledge. The college also focuses on health with available sporting amenities for all student-corpus.

The college has an auditorium with limited usage on the campus for holding events and seminars in order to enhance the facility’s extracurricular activities. It also focuses on offering technically flavored three years full time diploma courses in three different disciplines. Some of them are Diploma in Mechanical Engineering , Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Diploma in Civil Engineering programmes.

The Mechanical Engineering program once again takes the largest take with 240 students while the Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the Civil Engineering programs take 60 and 30 students respectively. Altogether the college is able to offer 330 more seats in its Diploma programs for young engineers of the country.
