Shree Sabal Women Teachers Training College, Jodhpur

Shree Sabal Women Teachers Training College was set up in the year 1997 and is located in a residential area of Borunda Jodhpur Rajasthan. Being a women’s college, this institution focuses on producing potential teachers by providing a Bachelors of Education (B Ed) programme. Situated on a campus of 40 acres, the college is an affiliated college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The total enrolment in Shree Sabal Women Teachers Training College is 541 students and there are 29 members of faculties that give it a privilege of being small institution where faculty and students can easily learn and grow from each other. Shree Sabal Women Teachers Training College has invested on several infrastructures expected to complement learning among the college students.

The fully stocked library has over 8001 books out of which 200 are reference books and 10 journals for the use by the trainee teachers. Remarkable concerning the college is the IT facility comprising of a computer laboratory, eleven computers, printers, scanners, internet facilities typical in human civilisation whereby students be obliged to update their knowledge with technology in education.

In an attempt to make sure that the students achieve general growth, the institution provides both the indoor and outdoor exercise amenities. The games to be played inside includes table tennis, carrom, chess and badminton while for those who will like playing outside there are football, cricket, basketball and volleyball.

Shree Sabal Women Teachers Training College also has an approved intake capacity of 300 students providing two years B. Ed course. The course is a full-time degree course and prepares the students with adequate knowledge and skills that are needed for a teacher training profession.

Some of the areas of focus offered by the programme are educational technology, educational psychology, educational administration and management, health education, computer education and many more.
