Shree Santkrupa Institute of Engineering and Technology, Satara

Founded in 2017, Shree Santkrupa Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ghogaon, Satara district, is located in the state of Maharashtra. This affiliated college has been approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and offers various programs in engineering. SSIET stretches over a 10-acre campus with a total student intake of 300 and a faculty strength of 47.

This institute offers undergraduate and diploma courses with intake in several engineering streams. Faculties are pretty diverse in this institution, duly facilitating students' growth in all aspects. A well-equipped library serves as the information center for the students and faculty members of the institution. The college lays great emphasis on physical fitness and sports.

Various athletic activities are regularly conducted throughout the year. IT infrastructure at SSIET consists of about 100 networked computers with the latest configurations, which enable students to access e-resources and know the capabilities of a network. To facilitate students, the college provides bus facilities from Karad-Chandoli road and Karad to Gurgaon road.

The campus also has industry-oriented, well-equipped laboratories and workshops for practical learning experiences. There are a total of 7 courses across two degree levels available at SSIET: B. Tech and Diploma programmes. B. Tech programmes are full-time, four-year courses, while the Diploma programmes are full-time, three-year courses. The institute has a total approved intake of 300 students in all its programs.

The B. Tech. courses include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Diploma courses also have specialisations in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning , Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Mechatronics . The admission procedure is based on merit and purely by the rules of the Maharashtra state government.

The institute accepts entrance test scores of JEE Main and MHT CET for B. Tech programmes. Entrance examinations serve as part of the admission process. SSIET has maintained an alumni association that keeps the ex- and current students in a very strong network, which may turn out to be quite helpful in career building and getting industry exposure.
