Shree Venkateshwara College of Paramedical Sciences, Erode (SVCPS Erode) is a self financing pharma college started in the year 2017. Affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, tnstitute is located in Othakuthirai, Gobichettipalayam, Tamil Nadu. SVCPS Erode is PCI approved and AICTE accredited pharmacy college.

The college occupies a campus area of 3 acres and awards two degrees to a total enrolment of 146 students. SVCPS Erode has a faculty strength of 26 and has a good number of students that gives them a comfortable student/faculty ratio. The institute has its core business of offering quality education in pharmaceutical sciences as well as offering training at diploma and undergraduate levels.

Shree Venkateshwara College of Paramedical Sciences for students learning include a well stocked library through which students get access to a number of academic materials. There is Pharmaceutics, Biotechnology, Chemical, Machine, Pharmacology, and Analysis lab that improves practical experience. The institute also has well equipped IT facilities thus making the students in line with modern technologies.

SVCPS Erode offers Indoor and outdoor games, sports and gym facilities for students to participate in other activities. In addition, there are a campus based auditorium for occasions and seminars for students and campus cafeteria for students and staffs. Also of importance, the college provides hostel facilities for boys and girls, which facilitates adequate out station living environment for students.

There is also provision of a health centre with amenities of first aid which include the students’ welfare being taken care of. At present SVCPS Erode offers two full time courses in the area of pharmacy only. The institute offers two courses , Diploma in Pharmacy ( D. Pharma ) with intake of 60 students and four years Bachelor in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) with 100 seats.

These programmes are aimed at preparing students for complete understanding and practical knowledge in aspects of pharmaceutical sciences. The total approved intake for all the courses offered at SVCPS Erode is 160 which speaks volume on the institute’s policy of limiting batch sizes in order to assure quality output. Pharma 60 Admission process of SVCPS Erode is clear and open for all the students who wishes to be a pharmacist or pharmacy assistant. The candidates eligible for admission must have a pass in their 10+2 examination with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as the medium of instruction. The institute uses an online system to receive applications through a Google form on the institute’s website.
