Shreeya Institute of Nursing Sciences Dharwad is a new-established college of nursing education in the state of Karnataka in India that began in 2018. Situated across the District Court on P. B Road, this affiliated college has shown tremendous growth in becoming the premier college for nursing and allied health sciences. Recognised by INC, the institute, at present, provides 11 courses at degree levels of B. Sc, M.

Sc and Diploma to meet various specialisations in nursing and health care technology. The institute has a specifically confined physical facility area of 5 acres and has 68 students enroled in the institute and is run by 16 faculty members. Shreeya Institute of Nursing Sciences is equipped with a number of facilities that go a long way in facilitating learning of the institute’s student population.

All encompassed within the framework of academic sources, there is a large library containing over five thousands books, encyclopedias, magazines and journals and is available for use on a daily basis to assure students have adequate study time. The large computer laboratory, with modern computers, makes it possible for students to upgrade on the most recent trends in health care.

Education wise for all round development of the college organises sports, singing and dancing competitions to build up confidence and team spirit among students. Education majority is achieved through health, with free annual checkups for the students and free medical care whiles they are in school.

It is evidenced by fully equipped laboratories, such as nursing where students apply knowledge acquired in theory with the hope of complementing it with the practical aspect. These are facility that are meant to resemble the real life health centres, thereby giving students vital practical experience they are going to need in the future.

The college also have clean and spacious hostels for boys and girls with larger rooms suitable for studies. The experienced wardens provide counseling or advice to the pupils so that the students feel at home since most are from different parts of the country.

Shreeya Institute of Nursing Sciences has a wide specialisation in providing nursing and allied health studying facilities. The courses offered under this curriculum are full time and GNM, B. Sc Nursing and M. Sc Nursing specialising in medical surgical, community health, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and psychiatric Nurses.

In addition, diploma courses offered by the institute include Medical Laboratory Technology , Medical Imaging Technician, Operation Theatre Anesthesia Technician, and Health Inspector.
