SAMM, Shri Agrasen Mahila Mahavidyalaya, is the women’s college which started its’ journey in the year 2003 in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. This institution is an associated college of Maharaja Surajmal Brij University It is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and approved by the Government of Rajasthan. SAMM provides education in faculties of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Commerce.

The college is spread over 1. 6781 acre area and has a total student strength of 867. SAMM has a faculty of 12 members which offers 5 programmes in total including 3 full fledged degrees in Political Science, Hindi, Geography, Art and Commerce streams. Shri Agrasen Mahila Mahavidyalaya has numerous facilities that assure students perform their tasks in the best learning atmosphere.

The school library of SAMM was having many facilities it has more than 4700 titles and 1000 Volumes The students have command and access of lots of books having lots of knowledge in their palm. For those interested in sports the college conducts annual sports event and there are playground for cricket, football, badminton and hockey.

There are also well fitted laboratories for geography, sciences, and home science subjects, which makes practical education possible. Thus, in accordance with the growth of the technology, SAMM offers IT infrastructure in terms of computerised lab and internet facilities over the entire campus. Other facilities for students include a canteen, transport, a gymnasium/ theatre, and well-equipped computerised classrooms.

Shri Agrasen Mahila Mahavidyalaya has a total 5 course where it provides both the UG and PG levels. Offers given by the undergraduate level are: The programmes include full time BA and B. Com, both are of 3 years duration. The college at postgraduate level is offering full time Masters of Arts in Hindi, Political Science , and Geography which are of two years duration each.

The admission procedure in Shri Agrasen Mahila Mahavidyalaya mostly localises on the entrance examination. For undergraduate courses such as BA and B Com, the college looks at the applicants class 12 results. MA programme prospective students for admission are enrolled on the basis of their previous year academic performance.
