Shri Babu Singh College of Pharmacy, Kaushambi

Shri Babu Singh College of Pharmacy at Kaushambi was brought out in 2018 and is a budding college under the field of pharmaceutical education in the State of Uttar Pradesh. This affiliated college is situated at Sirathu, and PCI and AICTE designated this college to follow the proper standard of pharmacy courses in India.

At the present time, the college is still developing; however, it has a faculty of 3 members, which shows that the college is keen on preserving the small and effective faculty that will enable students to get the best experience and education. Shri Babu Singh College of Pharmacy has a number of amenities to facilitate its educational function.

To meet these student needs, the college library is an outstanding resource centre offering students a plentiful supply of pharmaceutical literature and research information. Departmental laboratories, usually smaller than general university laboratories, give a feel of practical experience on different equipment, which is very important in the provision of practical skills in pharmacy.

Moreover, the college has ordered the relevant IT support, a computer lab in particular, so the students could be familiar with the employments of the modern technique of pharmacy practice. There is only one course under this institute offering a Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma), and the new capacity is 60 students.

This is a two-year course that aims at producing competent graduates in pharmaceutical sciences with an opportunity to fit into many positions in the health and drug manufacturing sectors. Its specific content of the programme enables students to cover the subject material comprehensively and apply the knowledge learnt as competent and professional pharmacists.

Students who have taken Science stream in 10+2 examination are eligible to take admission in D. Pharma.
