Shri Badarinath College of Pharmacy, Jhansi

Shri Badarinath College of Pharmacy is an educational institute specially focused on the area of pharmacy established in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Located at Jhansi-Kanpur Highway, 22 in the vicinity of the Essar Petrol Pump, Pahadi Bujurg, the college functions as an affiliated college for the specialised fields of pharmacy.

Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Shri Badarinath College of Pharmacy follows PCI guidelines in its curriculum to meet the PCI standards of education. Shri Badarinath College of Pharmacy provides two major courses in the field of pharmacy, which help for the different level courses in the stream of pharmacy. The college offers an educational course called Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma), which is a two-year full-time course, and another course called Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma), which is a four-year full-time programme.

As far as the curricula of both programmes are concerned, they are planned to offer the students a broader understanding of pharmaceutical sciences and the necessary practical skills. The D. Pharma programme has been approved to admit 60 students, while the B.

Pharma programme has also been approved to admit the same number of students, which means that the college has the capacity to admit 120 students in the two courses every year. Such an approach enables the institution to keep the proportion of students to faculty members low and offer quality education in the pharmaceutical area.
